Hi, my name is Sophia Schindler.

I love to edit. From favorite books, to my own mixed up sentences, I find myself revising just about any words that come my way.

As a developmental editor I work to enhance your writing by working on the overall flow and feel of your manuscript . Though I may spot the occasional grammar mistake I will mostly be focusing on things like: identifying confusion points, awkward structure, run-on sentences and plot holes; eliminating unnecessary/weak words, and battling repetition (after all, what protagonist needs to be slammed into the ground five times in the same paragraph?). Though editing often requires some challenging change, I strive to make sure your distinctive voice, style, and overall plan for the story is not diminished; but made to shine.
